Having a strategy is very important because it means that you know what you are doing and thus makes the game faster and easier to win. Here are some top tactics from us. Another vital thing is the civilization that you choose...as you well know. Right here are the tactics that we recommend. Since the two of us who made the website are Random Map players the tactics will be for Random Map. Just remember that these tactics work for us...it is not a sure thing that they will work for you. But good luck using them. And happy gaming. TCG_Leada and TCG_DeputyLeada's tactic. To get to the tool age fast. This tactic works with either the Assyrians or the Yamato, this is because their villagers work 30% faster. Check out the civilizations page to see other attributes. The first thing you have to do is build a villager. Then with the two of the villagers the game gives you, you have to make two houses. With the remaining villager send him to the nearest forest and build a storage pit. By this time you should have a house built and a villager out of your town center, with the villager who has just come out send him to get berries. Build another villager and once the house is complete, send the two villagers to pick berries along with the other villager which should allready be foraging. Once the storage pit is complete, make the villager who built it chop down some wood. Again the villager who has just come out of the town center, send him to pick berries with the rest of them. Build another villager and when he comes out send him to pick berries. You should now have five villagers picking berries, the next villager you build should be sent to chop down wood. Again before you tool, we recommend that you have thirteen villagers. nine or ten getting food, either by picking berries or hunting. The other three or four, should be chopping down wood. When you get to ten villagers send him to build a granery, and then a barracks(you should have enough wood) when he has finished send him to get wood or food. As we said above nine or ten villagers getting food and the other three or four on wood. Leave it at this and then wait until you have enough food to tool. Doing this, you should tool first. If you dont, do not worry, your point will get bigger faster because of how many villagers you have on food... Minoan Strategy First you push Hot Key H then C, to build a villager. Then you do the same up there. until you have two vills on wood you build a house right when they get thirty wood. Then you make the next two villagers work on food. So you would have ten villagers on wood keep putting vills on wood until you have total of twentytwo villigers then tool. (you gotta build another house to get twentytwo.) If you have a lake near by keep building fishing boats. Right when you start tooling take three or four villagers of of wood and put them on food. Right when you finish tooling build a Barracks, Archery Range(or stable for this strategy its archery range)and Market. At your storage pit upgrade to leather armor for archers. If your ten villagers on berries finish dont build farms go exploring for more berries, fish, animals. Also right after you tool take two wood villagers and put them on gold. Once you have 800 food, bronze. During when you are bronzing build two more archery ranges. Now, right after you bronze, go to your archery range and click on upgrade to Improved Bowman. Then when thats done build 2 and upgrade to comp. bowman. Keep building them and then attack. This is a good strat because comp. bowman have more attack then chariots, more range, and are a lot cheaper. The only problem is their health. But this should get you to the bronze age and have an army to kill some of the enemies villagers. Bronze Fast This best works with Assyrian First you push Hot Key H then C, to build a villager. Do the same as the first strategy, once the second villager is built put it on wood keep switching off from wood to food for example one villager made: goes to food second villager made:wood third villager made:food fourth villager made: wood and so on until you have nine villagers on food then the rest of the villagers made goes to wood. This is better because it gets you more wood. then once you have twenty villagers total take three wood villagers and put them on food. then once you tool put two wood villagers on food. Take a wood villager and build a barracks. Right when you are done tooling take two wood villagers and build an Archery Range. Then take two more wood villagers to build a Market then you should have enough food to bronze it should be around eleven or twelve min's. Take all the villagers you took from wood and put on food back to wood. During Bronzing build two more archery ranges. Then create Chariot Archers. and destroy your enemy.
